Badgers face Baylor in the 2017 National Collegiate Basketball Hall of Fame Classic

Ethan Happ will help lead Wisconsin against Baylor in the semifinals of the Hall of Fame Classic on Nov. 20 in Kansas City, Mo.

MADISON – Wisconsin is scheduled to face Baylor in the semifinals of the 2017 National Collegiate Basketball Hall of Fame Classic at the Sprint Center in Kansas City, Mo.

UW and the Bears meet in the second semifinal Nov. 20 at approximately 8:30 p.m. on ESPN2.

UCLA and Creighton meet in the first semifinal at 6 p.m. on ESPNU.

The pairings were announced Tuesday.

Semifinal winners meet at 9 p.m. Nov. 21 on ESPN2. The consolation game is set for 6:30 p.m. on ESPN3.

UW and Baylor have met just once, in the Sweet 16 of the 2014 NCAA Tournament. The Badgers, coached at the time by Bo Ryan, rolled to a 69-52 victory in Anaheim, Calif.

Ryan is set to be inducted into the National Collegiate Basketball Hall of Fame on Nov. 19 at the Arvest Bank Theatre at The Midland in Kansas City. 

UW is scheduled to play two “regional” home games before traveling to Kansas City. 

The Badgers host South Carolina State on Nov. 10 and Yale on Nov. 12. Tip times for those games are to be announced.
