As we use points and miles to travel all over the world, we sometimes forget some of the hidden gems located right here in the US. Budget Travel has released their list but some of the best suggestions seem to come from the 450+ reader comments…

That’s very true. There are so many places/parks in the USA that I would love to visit someday. Compared to the rest of the world, the USA probably is the most accommodating to disabled/handicapped tourists. Most if not all attractions/parks I’ve been to here in the USA always had disabled/wheelchair access. Sadly that’s not the case in most countries out there.

I Love Mackinaw Island and the Upper Peninsula in Michigan during the summer months of July and August. Biking around the island, touring the fort, and eating fudge. Brings back memories of childhood.
