Blues Traveler's John Popper will break out the harmonica for a free concert Sept. 9 outside Lambeau Field for Weekend Kickoff, a celebration of the Green Bay Packers new season.

Packers fans, are you ready for some football? And “Run-Around”? And the national anthem on harmonica?

Blues Traveler, with opener Everclear, will play a free concert outside the stadium on Saturday night for the Green Bay Packers season opener. Frontman John Popper will stick around to perform the national anthem on harmonica for the game against the Seattle Seahawks at 3:25 p.m. Sunday.

The concert begins at 5 p.m. near the stadium's Oneida Nation Gate. It’s part of the first-time Kickoff Weekend event, which will also include food and beverages sold from 3 to 9 p.m. at the new Johnsonville Tailgate Village in the Lambeau parking lot.
