Frontier is a points transfer partner at Points.com, meaning you can move points from Frontier into other loyalty programs (at a substantial devaluation).
In the past it was possible to use one of these signup bonuses from Frontier to get free points in other programs (or Starbucks cards).
Sadly they have since imposed a minimum threshold where your account needs at least 1001 miles in it in order to be able to transfer points out!

The 1001-mile requirement isn’t that much of an issue, just transfer 5 or so miles from AA or US to 1 Frontier mile, now you can transfer the 1001 miles back out to 150ish miles elsewhere.

@Gabbai Did you fill out the form with your personal information? Log out and log back into your account again. There should be 2 separate entries for 500 bonus miles posted to your account. It worked for both my husband and I this morning.
I tried swapping 2000 Frontier miles earned from an earlier signup through points.com and every attempt was rejected. When I wrote points.com about it, I received the explanation that exchanges of signup bonus miles are not allowed.
Great. Way to go Anon256. It’s probably only a matter of hours now until the minimum transfer out 1002 miles. Deal killer. Sheesh.
Thomas, it looks like we have to get approval from you for our posts since you want to get your own benefit from blogs but then want to limit what others share. I appreciate Anon256 offering a tip, not posts like yours which represent one-sided taking but bring nothing useful to the table except sarcasm from a blatantly selfish perspective.
The transfer 5 miles for 1 mile is an old US Air Grand Slam hit trick. At least it taught us a few things. Seems from other comments above that maybe Frontier has figured this all out however.
I use e-miles and e-Rewards to up my Frontier balances all the time and bring it beyond 1001. Now waiting for an e-Rewards redemption to post!
