Tensions have rapidly escalated on Korean Peninsula and beyond, following North Korea’s advancing nuclear and missile programs. Will China, the United States, and Russia find common ground on North Korea? What are the possible channels for cooperation through multilateral efforts to reduce the risks of nuclear proliferation?  What are the measures that will enable effective nuclear arms control on an international scale? Will those measures influence the prospect of China-U.S.-Russia relations?

On July 13th, the Brookings- Tsinghua Center for Public Policy and Globus of Caixin Media co- hosted an event on “China- U.S.- Russia: Trilateral relationship and strategy on nuclear arms control”. A panel of experts from both China and the U.S. shared their insights on the topic.
