Some customers found needles in their sandwiches last year. Now the airline catering giant, GateGourmet, is under fire for more deplorable conditions at the company’s Atlanta location. An FDA report sites major health concerns including:

  • Failure to properly store toxic cleaners
  • Pigeons flying over ovens that were located in close proximity to dumpsters
  • Snacks stored in unknown liquid

The Bottom Line

These are some serious findings in the FDA report. GateGourmet serves roughly 250 airlines, at 120 airports worldwide. Maybe I’ll just stick to the Martinis and Bourbon from now on!
