Winn-Dixie will donate all of its profits made on Independence Day to Hope For The Warriors.

Winn-Dixie will donate 100 percent of its profits made on July 4 to a nonprofit that supports post-9/11 veterans, service members and their families.

The nonprofit offers clinical health and wellness, transition services, community engagement and sports and recreation for those who are going through physical and psychological recovery.

“As we celebrate our independence this Fourth of July, we will continue to honor and give thanks to our military and their families for the sacrifices they make for our nation and the world,” said Anthony Hucker, president and CEO of Southeastern Grocers.

Winn-Dixie and its parent company Southeastern Grocers will donate all July 4 profits to Hope For The Warriors, a nonprofit that assists service members, veterans and their families.

In addition to the Independence Day campaign, Southeastern Grocers will also continue to support Hope For The Warriors by  sponsoring “spouse and caregiver scholarships, participating in networking and seminar events to build opportunities for transitioning veterans in the workplace,” the release stated.

Each store will also host a “Wall of Honor” where guests can leave personal notes or recognition to veterans or service members. “I donated” stickers will be passed out to those who offer additional donations to their purchases at check-out. Visitors can also participate by  posting pictures or a dedication to service members on the All For Honor Facebook page.
