5-year-old girl transported to hospital after scooter collides with vehicle

A 5-year-old Quentin girl was transported to WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital Tuesday after the scooter she was riding collided with a vehicle.

The girl was injured when her scooter collided with a vehicle driven by Richard Englehart, 82, of 77 S. Zinns Mill Road, Quentin, at 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, police said. Englehart was traveling north on Locust Lane when the girl came through the Alden Lane intersection and collided with his vehicle, according to police. 

Englehart was not injured, but was evaluated at the scene by EMS personnel, and the girl sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to the hospital by First Aid & Safety Patrol, police said.

Spill Control: City fire crews and fire police were dispatched at 4:41 p.m. Wednesday to Guilford and North Eighth streets.

Fire Alarm: Crews from Speedwell, Ebenezer and Annville-Cleona fire companies and First Aid & Safety Patrol were dispatched at 11:37 a.m. Thursday to Genco, 1629 Willow St. 

Union

Criminal Mischief: A padlock on an outdoor shed on a property in the 200 block of Green Point Road was reported damaged at 7:01 p.m. Tuesday, state police at Lickdale said.

South Lebanon

Mulch Fire: Avon, Weavertown, Hebron and Friendship fire companies and the First Aid and Safety Patrol were dispatched at 2:30 p.m. Thursday to 1316 King St.

Palmyra

Sexual Assault: Robert Grubb, 64, no known address, was arrested on sexual assault and harassment charges from an incident involving a 37-year-old Palmyra woman that occurred at 12:46 a.m. Thursday in the 500 block of Harrison St., police said. Grubb was transported to central booking, arraigned and committed to Lebanon County Correctional Facility in lieu of $5,000 bail, according to police.

Sexual Assault: Diego Morazzoni Sr., 35, of 112 N. College St., Palmyra, was charged on two counts of statutory sexual assault and five counts of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse for an incident that was reported Wednesday at 9:05 p.m. at 112 N. College St., police said. Morazzoni was also charged with unlawful contact with a minor, sexual abuse of children, two counts of aggravated indecent assault, corruption of minors, endangering the welfare of a child, four counts of indecent assault and indecent exposure, according to police. He was transported to central booking, arraigned and committed to Lebanon County Correctional Facility in lieu of $150,000 bail, police said. 

Simple Assault: Joshua Zeigler, 29, of 513 N. Railroad St., Palmyra, was charged with simple assault in relation to domestic violence and harassment from an incident that occurred at his residence at 3:10 p.m. Wednesday, police said. Zeigler was transported to central booking, arraigned and committed to Lebanon County Correctional Facility in lieu of $10,000 bail, according to police.

Crash: Jacquelyn Palmer, 46, of 29 Wickerberry Lane, Palmyra, and a Palmyra teen were involved in a crash at South Green and East Maple streets at 5:02 p.m. Tuesday, police said. The teenager reported injuries and was transported to Hershey Medical Center for evaluation, according to police. The crash is still under investigation, police said.

Simple Assault: Dimico Davenport, 44, of 50 N. Railroad St., Palmyra, was charged with simple assault, terroristic threats and harassment for a domestic dispute incident that occurred at 811 E. Main St. at 4:26 p.m. Tuesday, police said. Davenport was transported to central booking, arraigned and committed to Lebanon County Correctional Facility in lieu of $20,000 bail, according to police.

Possession: Joseph Roman, 22, of 404 Canal St., Palmyra, was charged with possession of marijuana and general lighting requirements after a traffic stop in the 700 block of North Railroad Street at 3:20 a.m. June 21, police said. 

Possession: Chad Conner, 40, of 1017 Weiler Blvd., Fort Worth, Texas, was charged with possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and unlawful activities in the 100 block of South Forge Road at 5:46 p.m. Wednesday, police said. 

North Lebanon

Crash: A motorcycle driven by Adam Shoemaker, 22, of 314 Park Ave., Myerstown, struck the driver’s side mirror of a car operated by David Landis, 38, 1625 Weavertown Road, at East Cumberland and East Street at 3:48 p.m. Wednesday, police said. Shoemaker was taken to a hospital but his condition was not available.

South Londonderry

Wires Down: Campbelltown Fire Co. was dispatched at 10:40 a.m. Thursday to School House Road and Horseshoe Pike.

Disorderly Conduct: Laura Zerphey, 32, and June Parsons, 32, both of Annville, were charged after getting into a fight in the parking lot of Redner’s , 110 Northside Commons on June 8 at 2:03 p.m., police said.

Crash: Margaret Achey, 76, Palmyra, was charged with a stop sign violation after she failed to yield for a vehicle driven by 27-year-old Laurel Vargas of Palmyra at South Forge and Hinkle Road at 4:58 p.m. Tuesday, police said. A minor injury was reported but no details were provided.

Crashed: Vehicles driven by Elizabeth McCormick, 19, Lititz, and Marianne Forney, 63, Palmyra, collided at South Forge and Airport roads at 9:27 a.m. Monday, police said. No injuries were reported.

Bicyclist Struck: Daniel Fellon, 35, Palmyra, collided with a vehicle driven by Michael Rhine, 24, Palmyra, while he was riding his bicycle on South Forge and Airport roads at 12:02 p.m. Monday, police said. Fellon was taken to Hershey Medical Center where he was released after treatment, a hospital spokeswoman said.

Crash: Alec Eggerton, 25, Williamsport, was charged with careless driving and driving an unregistered vehicle after his car struck the rear of an SUV operated by Deborah Stuber, 47, that was stopped for traffic in the 2800 block of Horseshoe Pike at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, pushing it into a stopped car operated by Tonya Crook, 50, Hummelstown, police said. No injuries were reported.
