Menomonee Falls man arrested after ramming state patrol squad near Horicon

A Menomonee Falls man was arrested in Dodge County on Tuesday after he allegedly crashed his car into a Wisconsin State Patrol vehicle during a pursuit.

A state trooper attempted to pull the man over shortly after 3 p.m. on State Highway 33 east of Horicon in the Town of Hubbard, according to the Dodge County Sheriff's Office.

The man stopped his car in the traffic lane on County Highway S near County Highway TW, put it reverse and crashed into the trooper’s vehicle, according to a news release.

The man got out of the car, became aggressive and struggled with the trooper and two motorists who stopped to help the trooper until sheriff's deputies and Horicon police officers arrived, according to the release.

The trooper received minor injuries but did not require hospitalization. The suspect received minor injuries and was taken to a hospital for evaluation, the sheriff's office said.
