One dead, three wounded since Monday night in separate Milwaukee shootings

A 32-year-old man was killed Tuesday afternoon on Milwaukee's north side in the fourth shooting in the city since Monday night.

The man was shot by an assailant in a passing vehicle shortly after 3 p.m. in the 3200 block of W. Center St. and died after being taken to a hospital, according to police, who were seeking suspects.

A 29-year-old woman was shot shortly before 1 p.m. Tuesday in the 2400 block of W. Melvina St. The woman was on a sidewalk when the occupant of an approaching vehicle fired several shots at her, police said.

The woman was taken to a hospital with a wound that is not life-threatening, according to police, who were seeking suspects in the shooting.

About 12:30 a.m. Tuesday, a 36-year-old man was shot in the 5500 block of N. 58th St. The man was taken to a hospital a serious injury and a person of interest has been detained, police said.

A 34-year-old woman was shot shortly before 11 p.m. Monday while standing in front of a home in the 2100 block of N. 47th St. The woman was taken to a hospital with a serious injury, according to police, who were seeking suspects.

Also Tuesday, Milwaukee police identified a 16-year-old boy who was fatally shot shortly after 6:30 p.m. Sunday in the 3800 block of W. Center St. as Emani J. Robinson.

Robinson was not part of an incident that led to the shooting, according to police, who were seeking suspects.
