This is part of a 3-D map that the Arizona Department of Transportation released showing the route of the Loop 202-South Mountain Freeway expansion.

Interstate 10 at 59th Avenue in Phoenix has reopened early, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.

All westbound lanes in the area were closed for most of the weekend as part of a construction project.

ADOT said a 100-foot crane will set up temporary steel beams to support a future flyover bridge that will connect I-10 westbound to the future Loop 202-South Mountain Freeway.

The construction of the 22-mile Loop 202-South Mountain Freeway will connect the East Valley to the West Valley and will be completed by late 2019.
