Seagate selected Freestyle Interiors to create the interior design for the firm’s Tortola furnished model that is under construction in Miromar Lakes Beach & Golf Club.

MIROMAR LAKES — Seagate Development Group LLC has selected Freestyle Interiors’ lead designers Ruta Menaghlazi and Lucie Simmons to create the interior design for the firm’s Tortola furnished model under construction in Miromar Lakes Beach & Golf Club’s Salerno 2 neighborhood.

The Tortola’s Hamptons beach house inspired architectural style, designed by RG Designs, offers an open-concept floor plan with 3,892 square feet under air and an additional 1,058 square feet of outdoor living space. The home’s grand entry and wide foyer lead to a grand room that fully opens to the outdoor living area. The grand room, expansive gourmet island kitchen, and a dining area with a full wet bar, will offer an elegant yet comfortable living space.

The plan also includes a study, four bedrooms, four full baths, two half-baths and a three-car garage. The sitting area in the owner’s bedroom opens to the outdoors, while two of the guest suites open to a private walled garden. The third guest bedroom serves as a VIP suite that opens to a sprawling outdoor living area with a fireplace, outdoor kitchen, dining and conversation areas, a pergola, and a pool and spa.

Menaghlazi and Simmons created an interior with a character beach style with global influences and edgy furniture pieces that add a fun note to the look. Neutral background tones will be accented with pops of teal, tan, browns and black along with foliage. The flooring in the living areas will be a natural medium-toned walnut hardwood.

The Tortola’s welcoming foyer features niches on either side, each of which will be finished with a framed mirror wall detail that combines millwork and mirrors. A flooring inlay will include a combination of glass mosaic tile, regular tile, and a wood border. A 16-foot pop-up ceiling contributes to the foyer’s open feeling.

A three-tiered ceiling detail in the study will be finished with millwork trim and crown molding. A metal partner’s desk, sofa, and a pair of side tables will give the room a cozy feeling. In addition to abstract art pieces, the room’s modern palette will include a mix of textures, teals, metal, walnut wood and bronze.

Three rectangular reverse soffit ceiling details with hidden LED lighting will establish the comfortable mood in the great room that opens to the outdoor living area. A series of raised dimensional panels with a flat stock trim detail on the feature wall will serve as a background for a built in that will combine an entertainment console, side tables, and a pair of ottomans that will be tucked under the tables. The space will accommodate an 80-inch television.

A chandelier will be suspended over the seating area that will feature a sectional sofa, two lounge chairs, a black metal drum side table, a rectangular organic style rustic cocktail table, and a console behind the sofa. Slatted curved teak benches will complement the design of the feature wall. A natural woven area rug will anchor an accent color palette that will play on neutrals with pops of teal, black, and white.

The adjoining kitchen will feature an island with a black base cabinet and antique white perimeter cabinetry, all of which will be topped by quartz counters. Bar stools with a nubby textured fabric will provide seating. Modern metal drum pendant lighting fixtures will be suspended over the island. A coordinating black brass fixture with a light white shade will be in the dining area where a black double pedestal table will be surrounded by slip-covered chairs. The dining area will also feature sculptural leaf artwork in a gold finish.

A vestibule with a double-door entry will lead to the master suite. Walk-in closets will flank the hallway leading to the master bedroom that will include a sitting area that opens to the lanai. Furnishings in the sitting area will include a lounge chair, an ottoman, and a global side table. The room’s warm tones will continue the wood flooring, walnut woods, ceramic pops of black, global accessories, and artwork found throughout the home. A bed with a large tufted upholstered headboard will be flanked by contemporary nightstands with a raven finish that is repeated on the dresser. Freestanding bookcases will be on either side of the dresser.

The flooring in the master bath will transition to a light cream 24-inch porcelain tile that has a look similar to champagne-toned limestone. The soft, subtle porcelain flooring will include a bit of movement. The bath’s neutral wall tones will be accented by pops of artwork. Floating walnut vanity cabinets with a mirror detail and LED lighting will be topped by quartz counters. A soft glass tile listello will be featured in the shower.

A conversation area on the covered lanai will feature a horizontal ventless fireplace with a linear burner. The summer kitchen will include a U-shaped walk up bar, a grill, cabinetry, and work space on the grill wall. A dining area off the great room will overlook the outdoor area’s pergola, pool and spa.
