Stock Custom Homes will complete construction of its 3,903-square-foot, two-story furnished Polynesia model at 236 Polynesia Court on Marco Island by mid-July. Priced at $2.895 million with furnishings, the Polynesia will feature an interior by Soco Interiors’ Daniel Kilgore. The open concept plan includes a great room, dining area, and island kitchen, a study, four bedrooms, four full baths and two half-baths, a loft, a three-car garage, and an outdoor living area with a summer kitchen, fireplace, pool and spa.

Kilgore envisioned the Polynesia model as a family friendly home in a relaxed transitional design with subtle visual and textural references to Old Florida style. His beach color palette will feature sandy neutrals, soft whites and liberal accents of warm coral and soft aqua. Light bleached oak natural wood flooring will be used throughout to create a coastal ambiance and a casual elegance.

The double-doored entry foyer will have a 16-foot, 8-inch ceiling to introduce the spacious scope of the floor plan. A glass lighting fixture in a vertical design will complement the tall entry space. Built-in lighted niches on both sides of the entry will showcase large abstract original paintings that will introduce the designer’s vivid tropical coral accent color.

The great room will feature four pocketing sliding doors to the pool area and the covered lanai. Three custom niches painted in an aqua accent color will form the room’s feature wall. The middle niche will have the television mounted above a painted white finished cabinet with large silver ring hardware. On either side of the center niche will be built-in display shelves with dark stained thick wood shelving. A transitional sofa in a textured tan linen will face the television and two ivory linen club chairs with silver nail head details will pair with a light ivory leather ottoman. The sculptural cocktail table will be made from a piece of natural driftwood with an applied silver finish and a round glass top.

The open concept dining area will have a feature wall of ivory applied molding in an interlocking pattern of squares to add a subtle detail to the space. The long rectangular dining table and the frames of the tan textured linen host and hostess chairs will have a painted off-white finish. The six side dining chairs will be slip-covered in a vanilla linen.

In the open kitchen, the perimeter cabinets will have an off-white painted finish that will play against light taupe quartz counter tops and a horizontally banded glass tile backsplash in light clear neutrals and frosty white. The large island will be presented in a weathered gray finish with a snow-white quartz counter top. Four upholstered white leather bar stools fronting the island will have stainless steel bases.

In the study, custom built-in units will grace one entire wall. The base cabinets will be in a painted gray finish with natural wood tops and matching wood shelves above. The center section will have floating shelves across the top and a partners’ desk tucked in below. A unique desk will include a stainless steel base and a hand-crafted top composed of inlaid wood pieces under a glass top. The gray linen desk chair will be paired with a neutral ottoman for extra seating. The opposite wall will present original artwork in the vibrant accent colors of coral and aqua.

The master bedroom will feature a color mix of ivory and sand with brush strokes of deep charcoal and warm coral. The headboard wall will be detailed with painted vertical molding that will extend to the ceiling. The bed will have a curved headboard with ivory linen inserts and a distressed charcoal gray wood frame. Silver leaf geometric design nightstands will add contrasting shine and texture. The dresser will feature a weathered charcoal gray finish with silver leaf hardware. The seating area will include two linen club chairs with a silver metal table.

In the master bath, the light wood floors will transition to a silver toned travertine that will extend onto the shower walls and floor. The vanity cabinetry will be finished in a painted Portobello gray against bright white quartz counter tops. A rectangular freestanding tub with polished chrome hardware will anchor the room.

The lanai will run the entire width of the home and will include a summer kitchen. The cabinetry will be a dark charcoal weathered driftwood finish with louvered cabinet doors. Counter tops will be in ice blue granite with a glass mosaic backsplash in blue, light gray and charcoal. The outdoor fireplace will be faced with a gray bamboo subtly textured tile. In the sitting area by the fireplace, a light driftwood colored metal sofa and two club chairs will have soft gray upholstery and bright accent pillows. A long and narrow woven espresso dining table will be set with backless woven dining stools.

Upstairs on the loft level, the two guest bedrooms will have their own bath. Both bedrooms will also have sliding doors opening onto a long covered balcony overlooking the lanai and pool below. The loft will be the casual entertainment area of the home and will feature a textured flaxen gray sectional with a chaise set on a natural fiber sisal rug. A charcoal gray club chair at the side will be accompanied by an ottoman. A casual weathered gray media cabinet and television will be set in a niche. A small desk with a linen chair will be placed off to the side providing extra work space for the owner or guests.

The Polynesia is the first of two models Stock is building on Marco Island. The 3,629-square-foot, two-story Malibu model will present an interior design by Vogue Interiors and is slated for completion in November. The great room floor plan includes a formal dining room, second-floor loft, four bedrooms, 4.5 baths, an outdoor living area and a three-car garage. The Malibu model is priced at $2.595 million with furnishings.
