FMS293 Get Well Soon

Happy Saturday, everyone!  I have missed you, hope you missed me, LOL!  When we began our kitchen remodel, we also cleaned out a lot of stuff and decided to have a yard sale yesterday and today!  So I have been busy setting everything up!  Even though it rained yesterday off and on, we still had a lot of customers, and I am looking forward to some more today!  I had a card made for the FMS sketch challenge from Karren a day or so ago, but never got a chance to post it, so we here go!

I pulled out some older papers from a little 6x6 pad from My Mind's Eye called Oliver; I just loved the little collage of images down in the corner:

I didn't have a circle or oval die big enough to cut my shape, so I did it free-hand, then stamped some flowers on the rounded edge with a retired stamp called Vintage Vogue.  The kraft paper card base was stamped with French Script, and I also stamped a little key from Artistic Etchings.

I still thought it looked a little bare, so I added some black glimmer leaves, a bit of Soft Sky seam binding and a little chevron heart.  The sentiment is from Hero Arts.  I never have enough get-well cards, so this is the beginning of my stash!  Thanks for popping in today!

So here's a shot of our garage sale....luckily we could have it IN the garage:

Of course, not everything was for sale....all the men who shopped were very interested in buying all the tools and equipment that weren't for sale, LOL!  Cassidy got in on the action too...she helped Grampy put up the signs at the end of the driveway:

and she was very helpful in pricing all the goodies:

Be sure to stop back tomorrow for our next Paper Players challenge too!  Be blessed!

I saw that sketch and knew I couldn't do it. You did a marvelous job cutting that shape free hand. Love Cassidy's colors...we all know they are SU colors...lol. What a garage!!! We are being blessed in upstate NY :-)

Fabulous card for the challenge, LeAnne! I love that little Bingo card and the colors! I showed Shawn the pictures of your garage sale and he asked if I wanted to go to it! LOL I know I do not live too far from you but by the time we'd get there it's be over! LOL Hope you had a great turnout even though the weather has been so so.

I like your own cluster of prettiness you added to the printed paper! Charming card LeAnne! We've had that problem with garage sales too...they all want hubby's tools!!
