Eastbound E. North Ave. at North Point Water Tower circle in Milwaukee to be closed Monday

Eastbound E. North Ave. at the North Point Water Tower circle will be closed for road work Monday and reopened Tuesday, the Milwaukee Department of Public Works announced Friday.

Detour signage for eastbound traffic will be posted near N. Lake Drive and will route traffic to E. Wyoming Place and N. Terrace Ave., according to a a news release from the DPW.

The westbound portion of the circle will remain open to through traffic and traffic patterns will return to normal Tuesday.

If weather forces a postponement of work, the street will remain closed Tuesday until the work is completed, according to the release, which advises travelers to allow extra time and follow detours entering and leaving the area.
