Well this is all of the treats! The UK Institut Esthederm stockists don’t have this yet but it’s well worth looking out for if you want something very skin softening and soothing for your skin after you’ve been in the sun. This is my favourite sun care brand – it works differently to others in that it encourages skin to defend itself by producing melanin – I’ve used if for several years – which is why you don’t see an SPF rating on it. But it does use its own patented system called UV Incellium which does filter (UVA and UVB).
The USP with the micellar after sun is that the micelles lift sand, suncream, salt and chlorine from your body in the shower so that the following morning you’re applying your sunscreen on a completely clean base. I suppose you could say it’s a build up buster. It smells absolutely beautiful – just like the IE sunscreen (if you don’t know the scent, it’s just an extra lovely ‘holiday’ smell). The one thing I’m not so keen on is that it’s got gold sparkles.. which of course might look absolutely lovely in the last moments before sunset in the Mediterranean but here in South East London, it’s not quite the look I was after for an evening Tesco trip. Actually, the sparkles are very light – but be warned, they exist! It left my skin both perfectly clean and soft. It’s now available here from SpaceNK for £18.
