Deputies: Lehigh man fatally shot 20-year-old son

Lee County Sheriff’s deputies have arrested a man on a charge of second-degree murder in the shooting death of his 20-year-old son at their Lehigh Acres home Monday night.
Detectives said Jonathan Brunelle, 41, intentionally shot his son, Shane, who died of his injuries.
Deputies initially responded about 8:30 p.m. Monday to the isolated domestic incident at a home in the 4600 block of 28th Street Southwest.
The elder Brunelle has previously been arrested by the Lee County Sheriff’s Office on charges of DUI with a blood alcohol level of 0.15 or higher with a person under age 18 in 2012, domestic touch or strike/battery in 2007, and DUI in 2003, reports show.
