Heading outdoors on Memorial Day for parades and picnics? You might want to pack an umbrella.

The National Weather Service in Sullivan is forecasting a slight chance for showers in southeastern Wisconsin between from 2 to 3 p.m. Monday followed by a chance of thunderstorms after 3 p.m.

Otherwise, the forecast looks bright for the holiday: mostly sunny with highs near 71 in the Milwaukee area and west winds at 10 to 15 mph.
