Sen. Al Franken to visit Milwaukee June 11 for book signing at Boswell Books

Minnesota Sen. Al Franken will sign copies of his new book during a ticketed event June 11 at Milwaukee's Boswell Books, 2559 N. Downer Ave.

"Al Franken, Giant of the Senate," which will be published May 30 by the Twelve imprint, is a memoir that takes Franken from his career as a satirical comedian and "Saturday Night Live" writer-performer through his surprising – and surprisingly successful –campaign for a Senate seat and his ensuing Washington years.
