Ruidoso cabins on affordable rental list for summer
Ruidoso ranked eighth on the list with Volcano, Hawaii being the most expensive of the 15 affordable cabin rental sites
Rental cabins in Ruidoso were featured in the TripAdvisor list of “Affordable Summer Cabin Getaways Across America.”
“We analyzed the weekly cost of a two-bedroom cabin rental during July 2017, and found Ruidoso costs an average of $952 per week,” a spokesman for the on-line travel advisory and booking service said.

Ruidoso was eighth on the list, after Angel Fire, which was second on the list at $671 per week. New Mexico and North Carolina were the only states with more than one location included, but the latter scored with four towns.
The most expensive cabin getaway listed was Volcano, Hawaii at $1,186 per week, followed by Big Bear, Calif. at $1,173 a week. Other towns mentioned were North Conway, N.H.; Brian Head, Utah; Pagosa Springs, Colo.; Bryson City, N.C.; Branson, Mo.; Henderson, N.C.; Townsend, Tenn.; Banner Elk, N.C.; Davis, WV.; Waynesville, N.C; and Blairsville, Ga.
