St. Mary's in Hales Corners evacuated, school canceled

Students at St. Mary Catholic School in Hales Corners were evacuated Tuesday morning after a gas leak was reported nearby, school officials said.

Classes have been canceled as a precautionary measure and parents can pick up their children at the upper parking lot at school, 9553 W Edgerton Ave.

The gas line was reportedly hit by road workers outside of the school.
