I’m excited to share with you a great way to prep ahead some delicious Vanilla Apple Parfaits, plus a giveaway for Rubbermaid®. This is a sponsored post for SheSpeaks/Rubbermaid®.
I think when you start any new way of eating, especially healthy eating, most will tell you that food prep is key. I have to admit that I completely agree. I’m not necessarily the poster child for food prep, I do it but typically I prep with leftovers, or be sure to have a few snacks prepped. Although, I think it may be easier since I work from home it has it’s disadvantages too because if I don’t prep food, I can easily graze from the fridge and pantry all day long. That may be what got me in the need to loose weight in the first place. One thing though, my husband and I have grown to love is having all the ingredients ready to make delicious parfaits available at all times. This past week we made some tasty Vanilla Apple Parfaits, that are great for on the go or to quench the sweet tooth!
I’ve fallen completely in love with Rubbermaid BRILLIANCE to store all of our food, I actually use it each week to store fresh cut fruits and veggies too. It’s 100% Leak-Proof, plus the latches seal so well that you don’t have to worry about anything coming in or out! It’s a stain resistant food storage container and it has a sleek look, that I love because you can easily see what’s in it too. It’s even microwave safe and easy to stack.
Each Sunday evening, I put Greek Vanilla Yogurt and Granola in a food storage container then I also am storing our apples in the larger one. I do this because I always seem to run out of room in my drawer for it and I like cold, crispy apples. Then, when I’m ready to make the parfaits, I simply use a small Rubbermaid BRILLIANCE container and add in the yogurt, granola, and apple slices. I can lock it and take it with me on the go too. My husband takes these in his lunches each day and it’s easy for him to make and take on the go. It’s such a great wholesome snack that is so tasty and fresh because the storage containers keep it nice and sealed.
I can honestly say this is my go-to over the summer. We found a delicious granola that we enjoy at the store or you can make a homemade version, then my kids enjoy this too so it’s a win all around. I’ve already got it on the plans to take with us to the lake too in a cooler. It’s easy to take on the go, just keep the yogurt cold and you are all set!
Even better I’m giving away a set too!

I would love some new containers that are leakproof! My daughter loves yogurt parfaits, but I’m hesitant to send them in her lunch because we might end up with a mess in regular containers.
