Liselotte Neumann’s eagle on the 14th hole and birdie on the 15th were just enough to carry her to a one-stroke victory over defending champion Juli Inkster in the Red Nose Day Walgreens Charity Championship on Sunday.

Neumann, of Sweden, shot a 4-under-par 68 on the Player Course at Geneva National Resort to claim her third title – but first since 2015 – on the Legends Tour, the official senior tour of the LPGA.

She earned $39,000 from the purse of $300,000.

Inkster birdied the 18th hole, forcing Neumann to make a testy par putt for the victory. Inkster shot a 69 and finished solo second.
