There is a lot of information out there which one can use to make decisions for their fantasy football team. Because of the amount of information available, my hope is to provide you about a handful of articles each week to help you make informed roster decisions.

It’s draft season, so there are a lot of questions that need to be answered.

– Redskins Pressing Fantasy Questions: We Like That! Confidence High in D.C.

Brad Evans and Liz Loza of Yahoo Sports evaluate the Washington Redskins in their “Pressing Questions” series, including who will be the lead back for our rivals from D.C.

Here’s what Liz had to say on Kirk Cousins:

“MAKE BELIEVE. Washington put Cousins on a one-year prove it and he did just that. Posting nearly identical stat lines in 2015 and 2016, the a Capella enthusiast has shown us his ceiling. However, the offense will have a different make up this season, and much needs to gel in order for Cousins to be successful. From a newly installed offensive coordinator (I suppose it helps that Matt Cavanaugh was the team’s QBs coach) to an overhaul of the depth chart, things are in flux in D.C.”

Brad takes a bit of a different stance.

– Reviving the True Value of the QB Position

NFL.com’s James Koh takes a look at the quarterback position and makes an argument for scoring changes to increase the value of the position for fantasy football.

“We need to fix quarterback scoring y’all.

“Even those of you who hate change, and those of you who just want to stay in blissful ignorance and play in “standard” leagues because that is how you, your father, and your father’s father have always played fantasy football. Yes, you too know deep down quarterback scoring needs to change.

“The NFL Fantasy crew just completed our first offseason mock draft and Aaron Rodgers was taken at the top of the fourth round, 31st overall. If you’re a savvy fantasy manager, you know that sounds about right for the Green Bay signal caller.”

– Dynasty Buy Low/Sell High: Wide Receivers

Mike Tagliere, also from FantasyPros.com, takes a look at the players who you should be looking to buy or sell, including a player I’ve never been able to find myself buying.

Donte Moncrief (WR – IND) –
Similar to how the player above him (Adams) was last year, it’s now-or-never for Moncrief. Plagued by injuries over the last two seasons, Moncrief hasn’t had his breakout party, but it’s very much in the realm of possibilities this season. Andrew Luck was also dealing with injuries, but the two have now connected for a touchdown in 11 of their last 15 games played.”

– LaGarrette Blount to the Eagles Just Makes Sense

Division rivals, the Philadelphia Eagles signed power running back LaGarrette Blount. I’m on the side that thinks it doesn’t make a ton of sense for the team or for Blount. Dan Pizutta over at NumberFire.com takes the other position.

“On Wednesday, running back LeGarrette Blount signed with the Philadelphia Eagles. The soon to be 31-year-old running back will ink a one-year deal, and it seems like it’ll make sense for everybody.

“The Philly backfield battalion of Darren Sproles, Wendell Smallwood, and rookie Donnel Pumphrey doesn’t have much in the way of size. Blount does. And lots of it.”
