MADISON – Isaiah Mullens, a 6-foot-6, 250-pound defensive end from Ohio, on Tuesday gave Wisconsin an oral commitment for its 2018 class.

Mullens, from Harvest Preparatory in Columbus, has scholarship offers from more than a dozen schools. The list includes Iowa, Rutgers, Purdue, Indiana, Louisville and Iowa State.

UW was the first Big Ten school to offer Mullens a scholarship.

The Badgers have 10 known commitments for their ’18 class. Seven of the commitments are expected to play defense, including end Boyd Dietzen of Kimberly.
