Senior Ryan McNamara tied the game with 6:52 left in the second quarter, when his shot from from the midline found its way past Notre Dame goalkeeper Shane Doss.

McNamara scored a pair of goals in the game and finishes his Marquette career as the program’s all-time leader in goals (102), points (152) and games started (63).

The Fighting Irish scored the final three goals of the first half and took control of the game in the third period.

Andy DeMichiei scored two goals for the Golden Eagles and Tanner Thompson added a goal and had three assists for the Golden Eagles (8-8).
