Amazon said Thursday that its AmazonFresh program is now available to customers in Milwaukee.

"With AmazonFresh, customers can combine grocery and other shopping into one seamless experience," the company said in a statement.

Customers can order a wide range of items including fresh groceries, household goods, beauty products and items from local specialty shops.

"AmazonFresh offers same-day or next-day delivery ... and the option of either attended or unattended delivery," according to the statement.

AmazonFresh costs $14.99 per month as an add-on to the online retailer's popular Prime membership program.

The monthly AmazonFresh membership allows for unlimited deliveries on orders of $40 or more.

"Customers in Milwaukee can order from various Chicago-area retailers through the Local Market program, including Irv & Shelly’s Fresh Picks, 'Laine’s Bake Shop, Intelligentsia Coffee and more," according to the statement.
