Carnival Bonsai Sushi Dining Added

As its own restaurant, Bonsai Sushi can be found on several Carnival ships. Since Guy’s Burger Joint closes relatively early in the evening, Carnival’s Bonsai Sushi has become my favoriteย go-to eatery for dinner. It’s that good.

So when I heard the news that Carnival pop-up Bonsai Sushi diningย was added to four more ships – Carnival Conquest, Carnival Valor, Carnival Liberty and Carnival Glory – I had to write about it!

Where you can findย Bonsai Sushi pop-ups

Unlike the actual restaurants, the new pop-up Bonsai Sushi eateries are located on Lido Deck and offer variety of sushi, sashimi and rolls on an a la carte basis. Diners place their order at the counter, given a pager, and then paged when their food is ready.

Sushi and sashimi, including Ebi (shrimp), Sake (salmon), Maguro (tuna) and Hamachi (amberjack), are available for $1.50 per piece. California Rolls and Spicy Tuna Rolls are offered at $5 per roll, with Bang Bang Bonsai Roll and Tempura Roll available at $7.50 each.

Complimentary sushi is also available at the Taste Bar appetizer venue and the Lido Restaurants on select nights. Full-serviceย Bonsai Sushi restaurants can be found on Carnival Breeze, Carnival Dream, Carnival Legend, Carnival Pride, Carnival Sunshine and Carnival Vista.

I hope that those amazing Green Tea cupcakes that are offered in Bonsai Sushi restaurants will be available in the new Lido venues, too. If you haven’t tried them, it’s a must-do dessert.
