Seagate Development Group LLC is holding an open house event at Windward Isle and Quail West today from noon to 4 p.m. Two furnished models are being showcased, the Abacos model at Windward Isle, and the Pine Valley grand estate residence at Quail West.

Windward Isle is a gated enclave of 28 single-family luxury homes being developed by Seagate south of Orange Blossom Drive on Airport-Pulling Road in North Naples. Designed by Weber Design Group and base priced at $1.275 million, the 3,065-square-foot single-story Abacos offers a combination of elegance and livability. The open-concept great room plan includes a wet bar, island kitchen, dining area, study, three bedrooms, three full baths and one half-bath, an outdoor living area, and a three-car garage. The furnished Abacos model is priced at $1.695 million and features an interior by Jinx McDonald Interior Designs’ Minka McDonald, ASID, LEED AP. The Abacos was named recipient of CBIA’s 2016 Sand Dollar Award for Product Design of the Year – Single Family Homes $1,500,001 - $1,750,000.

McDonald’s vision for the Abacos juxtaposes current contemporary styling with family comfort. The color palette incorporates ivories, silver, light driftwood grays, and charcoal gray tones. The flooring throughout the living areas is porcelain tile with subtle gray striations. The Abacos’ foyer opens to reveal the relaxed flow of the great room, kitchen, and dining area. A wet bar showcases charcoal cabinetry topped with white silestone. The great room features a ceiling treatment of interlocking drywall rectangles painted light gray.

For the feature wall, McDonald envisioned a wide custom entertainment console in a finish displaying striations of silver and charcoal gray with mullioned mirror-fronted doors. Applied moldings and a 60-by-40-inch contemporary canvas also adorn the long wall. For the seating group, McDonald arranged two sets of easy chairs facing one another on either side of a sofa in muted gray with charcoal and light green pillows. In the center, a contemporary glass-top stainless steel cocktail table anchors the grouping while overhead a high polish stainless steel light fixture illuminates the scene. Wide pocketing sliders open the great room to a covered lanai and pool.

The kitchen features island and perimeter cabinetry in pale gray. The counter surfaces are cambria quartz featuring swirls of caramel and vanilla interspersed with shiny dark gray speckles. This material also runs along the back wall as a tailored backsplash. Three counter stools in a green and gray geometric print are along the island with an additional stool at each end while geometric chrome pendant lights sparkle overhead.

The master bedroom’s headboard wall showcases a silvery gray metallic texture similar to grass cloth.  The aura in the master bathroom is pure and fresh. The vanity cabinetry is in gray and topped by counter tops in snowy white quartz. The flooring is accented with a linear pattern in a mother-of-pearl and white glass tile also featured in the shower and under the freestanding tub.

In the outdoor living area, a conversation area features a sofa, two chairs, a cocktail table and two side tables. All the furnishings are in a dark synthetic woven material with tan patterned seats and throw pillows in gray and tan. A 48-inch circular dining table with four chairs is near the outdoor kitchen where cabinetry is presented in a light gray with creamy granite counters.  A pool and spa encourage fun and relaxation.

Designed by Stofft Cooney Architects, Seagate’s 5,727-square-foot Pine Valley estate at Quail West showcases an interior design by Freestyle Interiors. The floor plan includes a great room that opens to a landscaped outdoor living area with a custom pool and spa, a conversation area with a fireplace, and an outdoor kitchen with a dining area for outdoor entertaining. A detached one-bedroom casita with a private bathroom is adjacent to the pool. The plan also features a club room with a media area, a bar with a window that opens to the outdoor living area, a walk-in wine room, and a lounge area. One of the two guest bedrooms serves as a VIP suite and opens to a private terrace and garden. A double-island kitchen will satisfy the most discriminating gourmet.  A gallery hallway includes an expanse of floor to ceiling windows with a cut-out for a desk overlooking a garden. A sitting area in the master bedroom offers views of another garden. The plan also includes a four-car garage. The Pine Valley is priced at $$4.295 million, with furnishings.

The Pine Valley’s interior presents angular ceiling details with minimal crown molding. Modern details are tempered by touches of classic styling to create a setting of timeless grace. The color palette incorporates deep coppers and terracotta blended with pale blues, espressos, and French gray against a background of creamy wall tones. The main flooring material is a light gray wire-brushed oak. The foyer presents floor-to-ceiling windows that visually blend the indoors and outdoors, a theme that continues throughout the home. A flooring design fashioned of triangular mosaic tiles in taupe makes an eye-catching statement.

The great room’s pocketing sliders open to an outdoor living area and pool. The feature wall showcases a built-in media center in a dark espresso finish. A sectional sofa upholstered in light linen with an incorporated chaise lounge is paired with two similarly upholstered accent chairs with woven raffia backs and walnut frames. The club room functions as a separate, casual gathering area that includes a walk-in wine room and an indoor-outdoor bar. One corner is devoted to television viewing with a transitional console finished in a walnut tone and a sectional sofa. A wall of glass separates the media area and the wine room, affording views of the horizontal bottle display. The wet bar features counter height seating that faces the outdoor living area with windows that open to unite the two spaces.

The kitchen features dark espresso cabinetry on the island base with a lighter finish on the perimeter cabinetry where a range hood commands attention. Counter tops in natural stone are streamlined across all surfaces. This generous space flows into a wide breakfast nook with expansive windows overlooking the pool.

The master bedroom’s sitting area overlooks gardens and features two upholstered lounge chairs in terracotta tones. The flooring in the master bath transitions from light oak to off-white honed marble. Vanity cabinetry is in a walnut tone to contrast white marble counter tops. Adjacent to a freestanding tub, the shower showcases white marble and taupe-colored limestone.

The outdoor living area includes a kitchen and dining space as well as two lounging areas. The kitchen features a grill and an under counter refrigerator and ice maker. The counter tops, including an L-shaped bar, are in granite. A dining table will accommodate 10 to 12 people. A mantel-less fireplace provides the focus for the conversation area. The detached casita includes a modern bed with a headboard, side rails, and foot board in a natural woven finish. In the bathroom, a stone mosaic of marble and travertine in white and chocolate tones conveys the aura of a spa shower.
