SMC breakfast series announced

The Sales & Marketing Council (SMC) of the Collier Building Industry Association (CBIA) is introducing new breakfast series featuring business leaders and industry experts speaking on a variety of progressive topics essential for business such as innovative entrepreneurship, strategic business growth, unique marketing strategies, and logistical business planning, among others. The Breakfast Series kicks off Tuesday, May 9 with John Burns Real Estate Consulting research analyst Lesley Deutch presenting Demographic Strategies for Southwest Florida’s Housing Market at Olde Cypress Country Club, 7165 Treeline Drive, Naples. Doors open at 8:30 a.m. for networking and a breakfast buffet that will precede the 30-minute presentation. REIS to meet

The Real Estate Investment Society (REIS) will hold its May luncheon on Tuesday, May 9 in the Osprey Room in the clubhouse at Pelican Preserve, on Treeline Avenue at Colonial Avenue. The topic is "Making a New Town- Babcock Ranch Development update" by Al DiNicola, senior vice president of sales and marketing for Kitson & Partners. CAM licensing course offered

Florida real estate school Larson Educational Services is offering a CAM licensing course. The two-day, 18-hour course is required education to obtain a Florida community association manager (CAM) license. The course covers Florida CAM licensing requirements, responsibilities, and liabilities and standards of conduct. A Florida CAM license is required when managing an association of more than 10 units and/or has an annual budget in excess of $100,000. The two-day class will be held on Thursday, May 18 and Friday, May 19 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day at 13040 Livingston Road, Suite 12, Naples. Tuition is $279. West Bay Club to renovate golf course

The West Bay Club in Estero announced that its members have approved a $4 million renovation of the Pete Dye designed championship golf course with completion expected by November 2018. "The primary focus of the design will be to enhance the greens and rebuild the bunkering," said Jeff Raimer, director of golf. "Drainage improvements will also be made to support improved conditioning and playability. During the renovation, the bulk of the course will be regrassed with environmentally friendly, state-of-the-art turf-grass. The renovation will add modern design elements and deliver exceptional playing conditions for the membership.” The club commissioned Fry/Straka Global Golf Course Design to spearhead the project. Located west of U.S. 41 in Estero, West Bay Club is a gated luxury golf community with more than 500 acres of nature preserves and wetlands.

GATES to renovate clubhouse

GATES Construction has started a project that will mark the beginning of a major clubhouse renovation at Pelican Isle Yacht Club in Naples. The project will entail the demolition, interior renovation and expansion of the existing bar, dining, grill, and kitchen areas, including new expanded casual dining and outdoor seating overlooking the Cocohatchee River and Wiggins Pass. With architectural design by McWard Architects and interior design by Wegman Design Group, the renovation is slated for completion by late fall.

997 Collier Properties LLC purchased the 22,165-square-foot office condos in Royal Palm Professional Center, 971-989 Collier Blvd., Marco Island from HHL Properties Inc. and Peredon LLC for $4.33 million. Dave Wallace and Biagio Bernardo negotiated the transaction.

Horizon Park Investments LLC purchased a 16-acre parcel on the southeast corner of Interstate 75 and Bonita Beach Road, Bonita Springs from Jerry F. Nichols for $4.8 million. William Wolf of CRE Consultants represented the buyer and David Stevens of IPC represented the seller.

HBK Naples Realty LLC purchased the 10,692-square-foot bank including drive-thru in the IberiaBank building at 3838 U.S 41 N., Suite 200, Naples from IberiaBank for $2.2 million. Randal Mercer and Brandon Stoneburner of CRE Consultants represented the seller and Clint Sherwood of IPC represented the buyer.

Rexel Inc. leased 5,000 square feet at 4148 Corporate Square, Naples from 4148 Corporate LLC.  Dave Wallace of CRE Consultants represented the lessor and Shawn Stoneburner of Cushman and Wakefield represented the lessee.

Adria Group Inc. leased 1,965 square feet in Bernwood Design Centre, 24850 Old 41 Road, Suite 19, Bonita Springs from CRM Companies Inc. Bill Wolf of CRE Consultants represented the lessee and Engel & Volkers represented the lessor.

Investment Properties Corp. (IPC) negotiated these deals
Racetac Petroleum Inc. purchased 2.151 acres of land at 13050 Bonita Beach Road S.E. from Bonita Cypress LLC for $1.45 million. Craig D. Timmins of IPC negotiated this transaction for the buyer. Michael Maurer of Engel & Volkers negotiated this transaction for the seller.

RSJW Management LLC and Global Finance & Insurance Solutions LLC purchased 12,250 square feet of commercial space from Filberto Macias, Jr. at 4377 Domestic Ave., Naples. William V. Gonnering and Christine McManus negotiated this transaction.

Asset Preservation Inc. as QI for Lockwood Place LLC purchased 4,133 square feet of commercial space from 1786 Trade Center Way Unit 4 LLC at 1786 Trade Center Way, No. 4, Naples. The purchase price was $550,000. Christine McManus negotiated this transaction.

Maureen Brumbach sold a 3,000-square-foot office/medical building at 26671 Dublin Woods Circle, Bonita Springs, to BSDV Holdings LLC for $450,000. Andrew DeSalvo and Matt Stepan represented the seller and Tiffany Luongo of Re/Max Distinction Commercial represented the buyer.
Highland Building Partners LLC leased a 1,049-square-foot office at 9001 Highland Woods Blvd., Suite 5, Bonita Springs, to Gulf Title Guaranty Agency LLC. Matt Stepan and Brandy Townley negotiated the transaction.
