FWC: Body pulled from Golden Gate canal

The body of a male was pulled from a Golden Gate canal Friday afternoon.

Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission officers were called to the scene of a boating accident at a canal near 32nd Avenue Southwest and 50th Street Southwest.

FWC officers are in the process of notifying the male's family of his death. The agency is investigating the cause of the single-vessel crash, according to Officer Bobby Dube, an FWC spokesman.
