Tasheanna Roshanda Heath, 30, and Jacqueline Denise Porch, 50, stopped at a stop sign near the intersection of Business 84 and U.S. 84 just north of Roscoe, Texas, and then failed to yield the right of way and pulled in front of a 2000 Kenworth tow truck. The driver of the tow truck struck the driver's side of Heath and Porch's 2010 Nissan Altima. Heath was the driver and Porch was the passenger.

Both women were pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the tow truck was treated and released.

According to family friend Dwayna Rogers of Milwaukee, Heath was living in Las Vegas, but was originally from Milwaukee. Porch lived in Milwaukee and was on a trip with Heath at the time of the crash in Texas.
