Boil water notice removed for neighborhoods in northern Collier County

A boil water notice for portions of northern Collier County, which was issued Thursday, was rescinded Friday afternoon after bacteriological testing was completed, yielding "satisfactory results," county officials said in a news release.

Officials issued the initial boil water notice after they discovered a water line break that caused reduced pressure in the portable water main Thursday morning.

The boil water notice affected the following neighborhoods and plazas: Heritage Bay, the Quarry, Esplanade, The Preserve, River Stone, Olde Cypress, Saturnia Lakes, Heritage Green, Ibis Cove, Laurel Lakes, Key Royal, Pebblebrooke, the Pebblebrooke Plaza, Bent Creek, Tuscany Cove and La Morada.
