Mike Crute, co-host of "The Devil's Advocates" radio talk show in Milwaukee, was lamenting Donald Trump's election as president when he argued that Bernie Sanders could have easily defeated Trump had the two faced off in the general election.

Crute also declared that Sanders is the most popular politician in the country.

But Sanders lost to Hillary Clinton in the fight for the Democratic nomination. So, is he the most popular?
