Police log: Driver crashes car into house

GUILFORD TOWNSHIP - A Chambersburg man allegedly crashed a car into a house, Pennsylvania State Police, Chambersburg said.

According to the report, Joshua E. Wratchford, 28, was driving a 2004 Ford Econoline west on Lincoln Way East at about 2:20 p.m. on April 20, when he had a medical episode and crossed into the eastbound lane. Police said Wratchford then drove off the road and struck a house with the vehicle's driver side bumper.

Wratchford was unharmed in the crash.

The house and the vehicle sustained moderate damage.

CRASH: Terry L. Parish, 56, Hector, New York, was unharmed after Pennsylvania State Police, Chambersburg said he struck a deer while driving at 2016 Chevrolet TRV north on Interstate 81 near mile marker 4.5 at about 8:30 p.m. on April 23.

DUI: A 17-year-old girl was arrested for driving under the influence, underage consumption and duty of driver on approach of an emergency vehicle after Chambersburg Police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle that failed to yield to several police vehicles responding to an incident with their lights and sirens activated on Norland Avenue on April 22. The teen was processed and released to a parent.

SIMPLE ASSAULT: Efrain Agosto, 44, Chambersburg, was arrested for simple assault and harassment on April 21 resulting from a domestic dispute, according to Chambersburg Police. Agosto was taken to the Franklin County Jail.

HARASSMENT: Alexis Danielle Lopes, 23, Chambersburg, is cited with summary harassment after Chambersburg Police spoke to a woman who said she was assaulted between 8 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. on April 16 by Lopes. According to the report, further investigation revealed Lopes hit the woman with her fist, causing her to have a bump on her head.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: Someone broke two concrete slabs belonging to St. John's United Church of Christ, 1811 Lincoln Way East, and a beer bottle in the parking lot between 9 p.m. on April 13 and 10 a.m. on April 14, according to Pennsylvania State Police, Chambersburg. FLEEING/ELUDING POLICE: Travis Kenneth Wilson Jr., 22, Three Springs, is accused of failing to stop for a stop sign and fleeing after Pennsylvania State Police, Chambersburg attempted to conduct a traffic stop on March 27 on Lemar Road. According to the report, Wilson exceeded the maximum speed limit by traveling 74 mph in a 45 mph zone, and then fled north on U.S. 75 driving 100 mph. The vehicle was found abandoned on Van Buren Road in Dublin Township, Huntington County.
