Lynch named Chopped champion; wins $50,000 for 4-H

Web star and 4-H alum chef Lazarus Lynch has earned $50,000 for 4-H.  Lynch was named champion of the Food Network’s Chopped Star Power tournament. Sixteen stars from the web, sports, comedy, and Hollywood competed over four preliminary rounds for the chance to advanced to the grand finale.

Lynch grew up in New York City got his start with 4-H as a sophomore in high school.  He says 4-H helps grow true leaders by believing in the possibility of young people.  He says the program helped him get where he is today.

Lynch currently serves as a youth member of the board of the National 4-H Council.
