With Hilton’s “Go More Get More” promotion, Hilton Honors loyalty program members can earn 2X Hilton points on eligible stays. And Diamond elite members will earn 3X Hilton points on all eligible stays, at over 4,700 hotels around the world.

The deal is good for stays between May 1, 2017, and August 31, 2017. And you must register to qualify for the offer.

The number of bonus points you’ll earn depends on your elite status at the time of checkout.

Bonus Points Add Up!

You’ll earn these bonus points in addition to the 10 base Hilton points per $1 you’ll earn when you stay with Hilton (5 base points per $1 at Tru and Home2 Suites), as well as any other bonus points you earn.

For example, if you booked 1 night at the Hilton Garden Inn Times Square for $253 per night with your Citi® Hilton HHonors™ Reserve Card card and chose Hilton’s Points & Points option, you could earn:

2,530 base Hilton points (10 base points per $1 X $253 = 2,530 Hilton points)
1,265 bonus Hilton points (5 bonus points per $1 with Hilton’s Points & Points option X $253 = 1,265 Hilton points)
2,530 bonus Hilton points (10 bonus points per $1 at Hilton hotels with the Citi Hilton Reserve X $253 = 2.530 Hilton points)
2,530 bonus Hilton points with Hilton’s “Go More Get More” promotion

Is It Worth It?

This promotion could be a good deal for folks who like staying at Hilton hotels. There are lots of hotels to choose from, and they’re often in convenient locations.

But don’t forget, it takes more points for a free Hilton night than it does with hotels like Starwood. So earning double or triple bonus points might seem like more than it is!

For a free night with Hilton, you’ll need at least 5,000 Hilton points, and up to 95,000 Hilton points for top tier Hilton hotels.

You can usually get ~0.5 cents in value per Hilton point when redeeming them for hotel stays. So, from the example above, the 2,530 bonus Hilton points per night you would earn through the promotion would be worth ~$13 (2,530 points X ~0.5 cents per point).

Because the number of bonus points you’ll earn is tied to the cash price of the room, this deal isn’t quite as good as Hilton’s recent “2k Every Day” offer.

That said, it’s possible to get MUCH more value (or much less!) from Hilton points. So it’s worth doing the math to make sure you’re getting the best deal.

But I wouldn’t recommend going out of your way to take advantage of this offer.

Bottom Line

With Hilton’s latest promotion, “Go More Get More,” Hilton Honors loyalty program members can earn 2X Hilton points for stays between May 1, 2017, and August 31, 2017. And folks with Diamond elite status will earn 3X Hilton points!

It’s a no-brainer to register, even if you don’t have a Hilton stay planned. Because you never know when a travel opportunity will come up!
