Motorcyclist killed in Walworth County crash

A motorcyclist was killed Monday when the cycle he was riding struck a tree in Walworth County, the sheriff's office said.

Joshua Faber, 32, of Delavan, was killed in the crash, reported shortly after 11:30 a.m. at the intersection of Highway H and Sugar Creek Road in Sugar Creek Township, according to a news release.

Faber ran a stop sign while eastbound on Sugar Creek Road and entered a ditch before striking the tree, according to the release.

Speed is believed to have contributed to the crash, which remained under investigation, the sheriff's office said.
