Summerfest's U.S. Cellular Connection Stage headliners include Frankie Ballard, Bebe Rexha, Hanson

Piet Levy, Milwaukee Journal Sentinel
Country artist Frankie Ballard will headline Summerfest's U.S. Cellular Connection Stage on opening day June 28.

Last year's country rebranding of Summerfest's U.S. Cellular Connection Stage continues in 2017, with Frankie Ballard, High Valley, LOCASH and Lauren Alaina set to headline.

But the country-heavy stage will also host a range of pop acts, from up-and-comers such as Bebe Rexha to Hanson, the band of brothers behind '90s megahit "MMMBop."

This is the last year to feature the current U.S. Cellular stage. It will be demolished after this year's Summerfest and replaced with a new, larger stage next year bearing the same name.

Summerfest officials will conclude daily grounds stage headliner announcements Wednesday. All but one show at the American Family Insurance Amphitheater (formerly the Marcus Amphitheater) have been announced.

General-admission tickets are $13 for weekdays before 4 p.m. and $20 for weeknights and weekends, available at the gate during Summerfest, and in advance at summerfest.com. Three-day passes for $48 and 11-day passes for $90 are available on Summerfest's website.

General-admission tickets do not include access to the amphitheater shows, but amphitheater ticketholders will have access to the Summerfest grounds on the dates of applicable shows.
