"If I told you that I love you, would you hold it against me" - the note that Tory Burch's father wrote to her Mother and then ran in the local newspaper, signed not by name but with parting words "Love Relentlessly" - adorable, wouldn't you agree? Inspired by the never ending romance and love of her parents, Tory Burch has created Love Relentlessly Eau de Parfum which is sweet both in notes and concept.
The bottle is exactly what you have most likely come to expect from such brand: chunky, sophisticated and of a signature style complete with logo embossing, finished with the delicate and ever charming engraving of the term "Love Relentlessly" - other than that there is not much else to say. Will this bottle travel well? Truly that is dependant on what size of bottle you purchase and how you plan on using it - personally I recommend purchasing a travel atomiser to save both your purchase and poor shoulder, but generally speaking this is a sturdy enough bottle that will survive a knock or two.
Tory Burch Love Relentlessly Eau de Parfum is a light, fruity floral that has a certain airiness to it - a scent that is effortless, timeless and one that will hold its own against hot or balmy weather. I'm not planning on getting married anytime soon but I can imagine that this will be a huge hit amongst brides (or perhaps as a bridesmaid gift - as a single woman I don't really know what protocol is for such event) this coming wedding season as it ticks so many boxes: unforgettable yet not over powering, and suitably doused in loving sentiment. The main notes are fairly complex and admittedly fairly lengthy but lovely none the less, highlights include: Pink Pepper (not at all spicy), Pink Grapefruit, Sicilian Lemon (one of the few scents that the lemon note truly shines), Sparkling Pear(I think this is what lends the sweetness), Raspberry, Lychee, Rose Essential, Orris, Jasmine Sambac, Patchouli, Amber, Australian Sandalwood, Vetiver, Cedarwood and Tonka Bean Absolute (a creamy and soft dry down).
Wedding or not, in love or not, this is a wonderful, everyday fragrance that is fresh, uplifting, beautifully complex and perfectly suited for everyday wear - one of my favourite scent launches of 2017 thus far.
