Man shot during attempted robbery

A man was shot during a robbery attempt on the north side, MIlwaukee police said.

The 20-year-old man is expected to survive his wounds. He told police he was walking in the 2400 block of N. 33rd St. around 9 p.m. Tuesday when two suspects tried to rob him, firing several gunshots at him.

He was taken to a hospital by a friend.
