Police arrested this woman for robbing a bank in Brookfield Monday.

A woman wearing a pink hoodie sweatshirt while robbing banks in Hales Corners and Brookfield has been apprehended, police said Tuesday.

The robber apparently didn't change her outfit much; she was still wearing the pink hooded sweatshirt when she allegedly robbed the second bank Monday.

In both incidents, the woman was talking on her cell phone the entire time she was robbing the banks.

The BMO Harris Bank, 3155 N. 124th St., Brookfield, was robbed at 9:40 a.m. Saturday when the woman, who also wore fake blue pointy fingernails, wrote a note on a bank document from the customer service station implying she had a weapon.

The woman took the note with her in addition to an undisclosed amount of cash.

Then shortly before 5 p.m. Monday, the Tri City National Bank, 5555 S. 108th St., Hales Corners, was robbed by the same woman, still wearing the pink hooded sweatshirt, though in this case she donned a pair of glasses and took off her blue jean vest. She passed a note to a teller and fled with an undisclosed amount of money.

After local media published security camera footage, tips flooded in to the Hales Corners and Brookfield police departments, and the woman was identified and arrested. She is expected to appear in Waukesha County Circuit Court on Wednesday.
