Santa Rosa Road under construction through Thursday

Santa Rosa Road will be narrowed down to one lane while it is under pavement overlay construction, according to the Ventura County Office of Public Works Agency.

Construction will last from 8 p.m. Tuesday to 5:30 a.m. Wednesday and then again 8 p.m. Wednesday to 5:30 a.m. Thursday from the Camarillo city limits to Yucca Drive, the agency said. Pavement overlay began Monday form 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., but caused traffic delays up to 30 minutes and caused Public Works to reschedule the rest of the construction.

During the construction, traffic will flow in only one direction at a time, alternating with the guidance of a traffic control vehicle.

Motorists are encouraged to use alternative routes during construction times to avoid delays.
