No underclassmen will be participating in Tennessee football's Pro Day on Friday.

The NFL and the American Football Coaches Association reached an agreement last September to allow NFL teams to meet, scout and test underclassmen a year before they decide to declare for the draft.

The rule, which went into effect this year, was implemented to help prevent players from making poor decisions about whether to enter the draft.

Each school can designate five underclassmen to participate in its Pro Day on campus to get evaluated by NFL scouts.

UT Senior Associate Athletics Director for Communications Ryan Robinson said the Vols won’t have any current players taking part because the team will be in “spring ball mode at that time.”

UT’s Pro Day runs from 8:30 a.m.-1 p.m. EDT on Friday. Representatives from all 32 NFL teams are expected to attend.
