Connecticut coach Geno Auriemma has caught Pat Summitt in terms of NCAA women's basketball tournament victories.

Pat Summitt wears a cheerleading uniform while singing "Rocky Top" during a timeout of a men's game between Tennessee and Florida on Feb. 27, 2007.

Auriemma recorded NCAA career victory No. 112 with the Huskies' 86-71 victory over UCLA on Saturday in Bridgeport (Conn.) Regional semifinals. The victory stretched UConn's winning streak to 110 games. Auriemma is in his 32nd year with Connecticut.

Summitt, the former Tennessee coaching legend, had been the leader among both men's and women's coaches with 112 NCAA victories. Summitt, who died June 28 after a five-year battle with Alzheimer's, still holds the record for career victories with 1,098.
