Wily Peralta on the hill for Brewers against Royals

PHOENIX - Right-hander Wily Peralta will be on the mound today as the Brewers play an exhibition game against the Kansas CIty Royals in Surprise.

We are down to the final days of camp and the Brewers made another move, reassigning right-hander Hiram Burgos to minor-league camp. They are down to 33 players now, meaning they have to cut eight more to get down to the 25-man limit for opening day.

Manager Craig Counsell continues to test the versatility of first baseman Eric Thames. After starting in right field Friday against Cincinnati, Thames will play left field today.
