The Green Bay Packers may be in thick of free agency and preparation for the NFL draft, but their quarterback is busy enjoying his offseason.

Aaron Rodgers reportedly will be in attendance Friday when the Wisconsin men’s basketball team takes on Florida in the Sweet 16 of the NCAA tournament.

Rodgers joined Evan Daniels of FOX Sports on his podcast Thursday to break down the tournament and how being overlooked coming out of high school drove him to be great.

Of course, Rodgers also was asked about the upcoming season.

“We probably need a couple more pieces on defense before the season starts, but we’re going to be really tough to stop on offense,” Rodgers said of a unit that has added tight ends Martellus Bennett and Lance Kendricks. “(Coach) Mike (McCarthy) has a great system that’s ever evolving and changing, and I put my stamp on it once we get it down on paper.”

“It’s exciting, man. Green Bay Packers fans should be excited.”
