Linebacker commits to UW for 2018 class

Wisconsin secured an oral commitment Wednesday from Lake Zurich (Ill.) High School linebacker Jack Sanborn for the 2018 freshman class.

Sanborn, 6 foot 2 and 220 pounds, reportedly had offers from Michigan State, Iowa, Minnesota, Northwestern, Indiana, Iowa State, Vanderbilt, Duke and several other schools.

Sanborn is the eighth known commitment for the 2018 class.
