Wisconsin DMV locations open Saturdays for voter IDs

Eight Division of Motor Vehicles service centers are open on Saturdays for voters that need an ID for the state's spring elections.

Customers enter the Division of Motor Vehicles service center on Dec. 18, 2009, at 711 W. Association Drive in Appleton, Wisconsin. The station will be open on Saturdays beginning this week.

DMV locations at Milwaukee Northwest, Milwaukee Southwest, Madison East, Madison Odana, La Crosse, Eau Claire, Wausau and Appleton are open Saturdays from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.

To obtain an ID you must complete an application and provide documentation with proof of name and date of birth, proof of identity, social security number, proof of Wisconsin residency and proof of U.S. citizenship, legal resident or temporary visitor status.
