Top-100 WR 'still committed' to Vols but 'open'

Top-100 sophomore wide receiver Kendrell Scurry of Independence High School in Thompson's Station, Tenn., posted on his Twitter account Monday that he decided to "open up my recruitment," although he's "still committed" to Tennessee.

The 6-foot-3, 185-pound Scurry, who gave the Vols their first commitment for the 2019 class in late July, admitted in a note posted on his Twitter account that the recent departure of former Tennessee wide receivers coach Zach Azzanni "played a major part" in his decision to open the door for other schools to recruit him.
